Learning about the indigenous tribes of the area and the early European settles up to the Revolutionary War. Weekly assignments included readings and online discussion questions.

Acquire the knowledge of what the socio, cultural, and political climate was like after the Civil War as the state of Georgia grappled and recovered from the changing times. Weekly assignments included readings and online discussion.

Understanding the sociopolitical climate and culture internal battle in Georgia during Progressivism,  World War I, New Deal, Great Depression, and World War II. Weekly assignments include reading, online discussion, and a quiz.

Grasp the information on the changing of tides regarding the racial tension and the fight for racial quality throughout Georgia and the American South and Southeast. Weekly assignments include Beyond Atlanta, online discussion and a quiz.

Combine the knowledge gained from class readings and assignments to analyze a primary document from any point in Georgia History.

I chose to analyze two 1930's holiday menus from the 6th Cavalry regiment out of Fort Olgethorpe, Georgia.
