New American Republic
The study of United States history from the end of the Revolutionary War through the War of 1812 at the graduate level. The class covered major conflicts and political events of the time.
Coursework
In class we read multiple articles and seven books covering various aspects of the New Republic. We wrote a response paper for each week. At the end of the semester, we were tasked to complete a project of any topic regarding the New Republic in any format the equated to a 20 page paper.

The author wrote an immersive story that transported me back to 18th and 19th century Virginia. I learned a lot about an internal conflict that can be considered as an ignored topic.
