  • Detailed inventory including detailed descriptions, condition reports, measurements, and point and shoot pictures.

  • Label artifacts as needed.

  • Assist in other duties as needed including condition reporting and installation for the traveling exhibit Our War Too: Women in Service.

 

Shaping Traditions: Folk Arts in a Changing South    April 2024 - March 2025 

  • Visual inventory of approximately 700 artifacts in closed exhibit.

  • Assist in photography of approximately 700 artifacts.

  • De-install exhibit.

  • Document label copy and signage from exhibit.

  • Complete detailed inventory of approximately 500 artifacts after the remaining 200 were returned to owners.

  • Research and write contextual summaries of approximately 500 artifacts for digitization.
